**About the Role**
A Perth based opportunity has become available, as part of BOQ Specialist, as a Relationship Manager

The purpose of this role is to deliver on our acquisition and distribution strategy through new client acquisition and deepening the relationship with our existing clients. The role will be responsible for achieving individual sales and growth targets whilst providing exceptional customer service to our core client base.

You will be responsible for looking after your customers banking needs, opening transaction accounts, credit cards, and assisting with home loan retention and management.
- Supporting the Senior Relationship Manager with managing their existing residential lending portfolio consisting of medical and dental professionals, including existing contracts and annual reviews.
- Working collaboratively within the national student and graduates team to assist in developing a portfolio of new clients
- Engage with existing students and graduates to assist with banking solutions (Retention)
- Promote and sell our student and graduate packages to our core clients, including meeting clients at events, universities and/or place of work to conduct interviews and determine financial position and objectives.
- Discuss options for the client and develop tailored solutions. (Cross sell credit card and overdraft included in the student and graduate packages)
- Consistently meet and/or exceed individual volume targets and performance objectives.
- Attend state and national events within universities and hospitals
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and high expectations in a pressurized environment
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customers and engage with customers to better understand customer needs and use this to shape retention opportunities
- Partner with the Assistant Relationship Manager to coordinate prioritisation of workflow and delegate accordingly, as well as play an active part in their learning and development

**About you**
- Degree would be preferable, but tangible experience most valued
- Demonstrated aptitude for Banking, Finance and Industry niches
- Strong sales track record
- Understanding of credit, risk and security
- Understanding of contracts and documentation
