**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

As a Asset Inspector in a 6-12 month contract you will collect asset inventory data including identifying, locating, classifying and recording all attributes of asset by using appropriate digital methods for Roads, Footpaths, Buildings, Public Spaces, Stormwater and all other infrastructure assets. Perform condition and defects inspections for buildings and all infrastructure assets that include site inspections, condition assessments, defects identification, defects mapping, program preparation and cost estimation by using appropriate digital methods.

**DUTIES.**
- Update Council's Asset Management System with inventory information
- Process data and calculate overall condition/risk scores regularly
- Liaise with external stakeholders including vendors, developers and contractors
- Mark assets for approved asset renewal programs and attend to customer requests

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in Asset Inspections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or ability to pick up new softwares
- Effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and delivery outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
