Roller Operator

**About the role**:
Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking experienced Roller Operators to join the crew, to undertake roller duties associated with road construction and maintenance activities.

You will hold a current NSW Class C driver’s licence, as a minimum, have experience operating rollers, and knowledge and experience in basic mechanical and maintenance principles of plant. Experience working in the road maintenance and construction industry are also key requirements.

**Key Requirements**:

- Possess a current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence, as a minimum
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Sound knowledge and experience in the operation of rollers including, padfoot, smooth drum and multi-tyred, self-propelled or otherwise.
- Experience in the utilisation of small plant
- Have a sound knowledge of the metric system of measurement
- Experience in the utilisation of small plant
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team member
- Take Annual Leave in accordance with the applicable Leave Roster
- Ability to complete associated administrative duties

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug and alcohol screen.

**Salary**:$1,044.00 to $1,096.90 per week + adverse working conditions allowance level 1 of $18.92 per week + superannuation

**Position Status**:Permanent Full-time

**Hours of work**:38 hours per week with an RDO every fortnight
