Brightside Recruitment is a Social, Health and Wellbeing specialist recruitment agency who supports the amazing work of our clients by attracting highly skilled and experienced staff to join their organisation on a full time, permanent or contract basis.

We are currently on the look-out for experienced Mental Health Clinicians across the Lower and Upper Hunter Region. We are partnered with a local and national NGO who require Clinician's with an interest in child and youth mental health and AOD.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and other modalities as appropriate
- Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Registration with the appropriate professional body (AHPRA, AASW etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention services, preferably within a community setting
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain
- Full Australian working rights
