- Nanny Start Date: 10/06/24 Location: Ashgrove Pay Rate: $40 (inclusive of tax) per hour plus superannuation and leave entitlements Contract type: Full time 12 month Contract (with ability to extend) Fuel Allowance: 95 cents per KM Days/ Hours: - Monday, Tuesday 7am-7pm - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am-12:30pm 38 hours minimum per week - looking for someone who can work more hours if required. About the Family: This role is for a medical family with both parents working extremely busy schedules that are often changed around from week to week. They have three girls 11, 15 and 3.5 years and their loving family dog. The children are all very funny, creative and love art, drawing and music. The youngest is a determined soul; she loves Bluey, swimming and running “really, really fast”. She currently attends daycare on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the family is looking to decrease these days. The middle child is in grade 6. She is compassionate and full of creative ideas, she is always painting, drawing, repurposing objects and making up her own little projects. The oldest child is in grade 10, she is independent and self sufficient. She walks herself to the bus stop in the mornings to get to school and only requires mínimal supervision. She takes inspiration from anime in her art and loves listening to her very eclectic playlist.

**Your Duties**:

- Tasks: Mondays and Tuesdays: - Sole-charge care of their youngest daughter providing her with care, activities, taking to play groups, park plays, play dates or extracurricular activities - School drop off and pick up in own vehicle - Packing lunch boxes, getting children ready for the day (e.g. brushed teeth, dressed in correct uniforms, bags packed with correct items, sunscreen on) - Providing children with afternoon tea and taking to extracurricular activities/ picking them up or liaising with parents to pick up at the correct times. - School pick up/ drop offs - General tidying up after activities and meals Wednesdays, Thursday and Fridays: Household Management duties: - General tidying up after children’s activities and meals - Updating and organising the families monthly calendar/ schedules - Pet walking and feeding - Cooking dinners, meal planning/ baking snacks and online grocery shopping - Emptying bins - Changing linen and changing over towels weekly - General tidying of children's areas and common spaces - Laundry - clothing and linen - Updating parents on household matters and children - Liaising with cleaners and running errands. Transport: Australian licence required and nanny can use own vehicle with fuel allowance 95c per KM Must have: - Blue card/ Police Check - First Aid and CPR Certificate - Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role - 2 x Reference checks - Excellent English - Non-smoker

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- We are looking for a household manager/ nanny who is able to have flexibility with the changing schedules of a medical family. We need someone who can help this family maintain routines and order for the children. Someone with the natural ability to take initiative can see what needs doing and work independently to complete the day-to-day running of the household. The key role on Monday and Tuesday will be complete care of the children including children to school, daycare, packing lunches, tidying up after meals and taking the youngest on adventures to the park, playgroup, creating fun activities and cooking meals, school pick up, dinner and bath time routines. On Wednesday to Friday the Household Manager position comes into play, you will be in charge of doing the household shopping (online), planning meals for the week, cooking meals/ baking snacks, walking the dog, changing linen, laundry, and maintaining a tidy space for the family, coordinating and updating schedules for the family (e.g. organising kids school excursions, transport to extracurricular activities, what needs to be packed into school bags, look for any discrepancies in the family schedules and problem solve to make every child can have what they need for a successful week.) Nanny will be required to maintain professionalism at all times, respect of privacy and confidentiality of the family.
