Are you willing to join with a family and community focused specialist centre established in New South Wales? Located 7.8 km from the central business district of Sydney our client’s specialist facility is looking for an Exercise Physiologist. This would be a community-based role (Mobile) and the selected Exercise Physiologist will be provided with a travel allowance. The new Mobile Exercise Physiologist will be joining with an industry-leading care provider, delivering high quality, personalized and holistic services to people with diverse lived experiences in the surrounding areas of inner Sydney, New South Wales.

The job responsibilities of the new Mobile Exercise Physiologist will include conducting exercise-based interventions to help patients better manage day-to-day movement, build strength and meet their goals, provide prescriptions and supervision of personalized home exercise programs, work on increasing strength, mobility and balance, prolonging the client’s independence and improving confidence, and provide face to face and occasional tele-support to clients in community settings of their choice, in their own home, group homes, day programs.

Their team of Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) specialize in exercise interventions for seniors and people with disabilities.

The facility opens on weekdays from 8.00 am - 5.00 pm.

**About Medfuture**

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Requires ESSA registration
- Successful completion of a minimum bachelor’s degree that successfully meets the ESSA Exercise Science Standards
- Applicants must have at least four years full-time equivalent (FTE) study in the field of exercise physiology
- Active General or Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- Experience working in the community, delivering OT interventions, especially home modifications is valuable, but not compulsory.
- Strong documentation, administration, and time management skills.
