**The Role**
Reporting to the CEO, the Health & Safety Manager forms part of the Leadership Team, and will focus on:

- Developing and sustaining a safety-conscious culture, cultivating awareness of Health and Safety practices among employees, users, contractors, visitors, and customers
- Maintaining an up to date compliance register to ensure that all the activities align
- Overseeing, maintaining, and continually refining the Health and Safety systems, manuals, and processes to ensure their ongoing relevance and effectiveness
- Leading the Emergency Management response function, ensuring that they are well prepared for any unforeseen circumstances
- Collaborating with the management team to provide strategic guidance for the organisations future

**About You**:

- Qualifications in work health safety or a related discipline
- Proven experience working in an operational HSE focussed role within a diverse organisation
- Experience in the interpretation of safety legislation, policies and procedures
- Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts in a simple way
- Proven track record of delivering on safety initiatives that have a real impact
- Ability to influence outcomes outside the span of control
- Maintaining strong relationships whilst challenging ways of working that are not in line with the H&S strategy
