**Vocational Specialist**
**position available.**

**This position is a**
**Full-time, Max - Term for one year, working between Monday to Friday**
**.**

**The Day to Day**
- Work with young people to achieve their vocational goals.
- Support the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the Individual Placement Support (IPS) service.
- Develop and maintain strong networks and communication with services, including mental health, vocational service providers and employers.
- Effectively promote IPS to internal and external stakeholders and develop referral pathways across the local area.
- Deliver the IPS model of vocational assistance to young people who experience barriers to employment and/or education
- Manage a caseload of young people; liaise with clinical teams, families and employers in an ongoing and professional manner to achieve positive outcomes for young people.

**What you need to have**
- Experience working with young people or vulnerable groups
- Previous experience in roles that required attention to detail in documentation
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across the community and employment sector and demonstrated partnership building and negotiation skills
- Passion for ethical work and helping others
- The ability to cold call or approach potential employers for the establishment of employment opportunities.
