WesTrac are looking for a motivated **Service Rebuild Advisor** to join our South Guildford Component Rebuild Centre supporting our Powertrain Team.

Reporting to the Powertrain Manager, the Service Rebuild Advisor is required to work closely with the Powertrain Leadership Team and Technicians during the rebuild process. The Service Rebuild Advisor is required to work with the Technician by recommending/approving the re-use, salvage or replacement of parts to be used during the rebuild process in preparation for final costing and timely completion of the Customer Report. This role also provides technical assistance with Failure Analysis (FA) reporting relating to repairs carried out in the Component Rebuild Centre (CRC).

We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail who can manage multiple tasks with ease. You will have a problem-solving mindset, always focusing on the needs of the business and its stakeholders whilst liaising with a range of departments and services.

**About you**:
**Essential**:

- Trade qualification with strong post-trade experience, particularly in Caterpillar Component Rebuilds with advanced level mechanical aptitude in components/ or tertiary qualifications in a mechanical discipline with demonstrated exposure to a similar environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Knowledge of and experience in utilising continuous improvement and lean principle methodologies

**Desirable**:

- Completed Caterpillar Applied Failure Analysis 1 training
- Completed Caterpillar Applied Failure Analysis 2 training
- Understanding of workshop and field service operations
- Demonstrated experience of training and development provided to individuals and teams
- Understanding of Project Management Methodologies
- Customer facing interactions experience
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment
