Reporting to the Store Manager and Distribution Manager, we our looking for Delivery Teamlead, your day will be focused on providing exceptional personalised service to our trade customers.

**What are we looking for?**
- Strong collaborator
- Extensive experience and understanding of load management and security
- Previous experience working within the logistics industry as a driver or supervisor
- Logistics certification in progress, highly desirable
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Competent with excel, word and Office365
- Forklift licence and MR or HR licence highly desirable

**General Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRA’s)**:

- Works collaboratively with the assigned store management to provide a positive delivery experience for both the customer and teams within the business
- Reviews customer orders and plans and co-ordinates delivery activities
- Builds positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth
- Oversees daily activities of delivery team and provides direction and guidance as needed
- Performs resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements
- Manages individual performance of team-members, ensuring that the team maintains high levels of competence and operational excellence
- Oversees team compliance with company policies and procedures, meeting all expectations in regards to health and safety standards and practices
- Reports any vehicle/driver incidents relating to health and safety within 24 hours to the WHS & ER Manager
- Evaluates the performance of team members at least annually using the company process, and determines training needs
- Supports up
- and cross-skilling of delivery team (forklift licence, MR to HR, certifications etc)
- Serves as primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns for the local site
- Analyses customer orders, sets delivery priorities and makes schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals
- Works with the Logistics Manager and Distribution Manager to develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time savings across the company, including inter-store goods transfers and warehousing
- Provides regular updates to the Logistics Manager and Distribution Manager on any issues or concerns at the local site
- Makes critical business decisions to meet customer expectations
- Maintains a local accident register and all documentation
- Understands and utilises the tracking system ‘Solbox’ to manage delivery and improve service to customers
- Ensures vehicles are maintained and secure, conducting daily and monthly assessments and providing recommendations on repairs, upgrades and purchases to the Logistics Manager as needed
- Monitors registration and CTP status of local vehicles, including forklifts
