Karralyka, a premier theatre and function centre in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs currently has an exciting opportunity to join their Catering team.

We currently have an opening for 3 experienced Kitchen Hands to join our catering kitchen casual pool, with a rotating roster and immediate start.

This role is responsible for varied kitchen duties, including food preparation, washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining high standards of OH&S and food safety in accordance with policies and procedures, undertaking tasks to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen surfaces, materials and environments.
- Knowledge of HACCP, OH&S & Food Safety
- Commercial cookery skills or hospitality/food preparation qualifications
- Experience working in a similar high-volume environment or position
- Strong customer service skills
- Positive team player with the ability to take instruction and prioritise tasks efficiently

You must and be able to work a variety of hours including weekends as required and provide assistance with leave cover.

As part of our selection process, you may be required to have pre-employment checks. (Psychometric Assessment, CrimCheck and Working with Children Clearance).
