**Tasks and responsibilities**

In your new role at Doveston Health, you will be part of a dynamic and motivated reception team, and work with highly experienced allied health staff consisting of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, dietitians, and podiatrists. With exceptional communication, organisational and relationship building skills, you will thrive in this fast-paced Practice.

Reporting directly to the Director and Senior Administration Staff you will be responsible for the day-to-day reception duties including making and receiving telephone calls, scheduling patient appointments, greeting patients on arrival, processing payments, various forms billing, checking mail, printing, copying and scanning etc. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced healthcare/medical receptionist who is motivated and willing to work in a new and challenging role. **Primary Responsibilities**:

- Greeting patients
- Billing
- Stock sales
- Stocktake
- Photocopying and scanning
- Filling and opening mail
- Data Entry and management of our large volume of referrals
- Calling Patients to schedule appointments (New Referrals, Past Patients etc)
- Potential to assist with management of Social Media Platforms (Daily Posts etc)
- Assistance in managing CRM Software (Training Provided)

This position would suit someone who is keen to further their skills / career in a healthcare reception role.

**Skills and Experience required**
- Minimum 12 months experience in a healthcare/medical receptionist role
- Proficiency with Practice Management Software
- A strong track record of operational excellence, well organised and task orientated
- High level numeracy skills to ensure accurate billing and daily balancing of takings
- High level skills in customer service supported with evidence of training/experience;
- Good interpersonal skills and be able to work autonomously and in harmony with other team members
- Display a positive attitude under pressure
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong problem solving, negotiation and investigative skills
- Well-spoken and articulate with professional appearance
- Exceptional Phone Manner
- Friendly and approachable demeanour together with a genuine caring attitude in your commitment to working with the Public of all age groups including the elderly and patients with disabilities.
- A proven ability to adapt to meet the needs of each patient
- A well-developed ability to manage the competing demands of a busy clinic environment
- A proven ability to multi-task while maintaining accurate records
- A high level of computer skills
- Warm helpful and professional front desk etiquette

**Skills not mandatory, but preferable**:

- Sales Experience
- Skills in Marketing, (Graphic Design would be super handy also)
- Confident on all Social Media Platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Google Plus, LinkedIn and YouTube)
- Experience with CRM Software like InfusionSoft, HubSpot, and/or Salesforce.

**Salary**: $23.62 - $26.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- MS Office: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
