**About the role**

At Navitas Skilled Futures, Trainers are responsible for the delivery of high-quality language, literacy and numeracy training programs and assessment practices for Navitas Skilled Futures clients, in accordance with Navitas Skilled Futures guidelines and instructions, government contract requirements and the Standards for RTOs 2015.

**Essential**:
1. Bachelor’s degree, and

2. Post-graduate qualification in TESOL or Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy, and

3. Relevant Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Minimum level of English equivalent to IELTS Score 7
- Demonstrated teaching capability & ability to use technology in classroom delivery
- Demonstrated assessment capability & ability to deliver training using nationally accredited curricula e.g. CSWE, EAL and frameworks e.g. ACSF
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in a multicultural learning environment

**Desirable**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of AQF principles and methodology
- Demonstrated awareness of a range of cultural perspectives and sensitive approaches
- Ability to use learning management systems and/or student management systems e.g. Canvas, VETtrak
- Demonstrated capability to use Microsoft Office suite
- Experience and currency in industry related areas relevant to jobseeker goals e.g. hospitality, community services, warehousing
