**About the position**
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Groundskeepers who have a keen interest in working on our golf courses & sports fields.
Working as part of a team you will be responsible for ensuring that Council's golf courses and sports fields are maintained to the highest standard.
Operating appropriate tools and machinery you will carry out routine maintenance and renovation of Council’s sportsfields and golf courses, including mowing fairways and greens, raking bunkers, collecting litter and pest, weed and disease control.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have previous experience in open space maintenance, as well as a genuine interest in working on sports fields and golf courses. With a Certificate III in Greenkeeping (or equivalent), you will also have a Chemical Users Certificate and strong communication and customer service skills. A WorkCover Construction Induction Card (White Card) and a current Class “C” driver’s licence are also essential.
Turf cricket wicket experience is desirable.
