Job Description:
Your main function will be to provide our customers with service and aftermarket support on rock crushers, feeders and vibrating screens. You will also assist to broaden the customer base in conjunction with the Service Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide assistance to customers by repairing equipment and troubleshoot problems as they arise.- Communicate information on equipment problems.- Actively engage in improving fault finding and troubleshooting techniques.- Demonstrate attention to detail and be familiar with precision measuring equipment.- Demonstrate an ability to work within reasonable time constraints.- Performing other duties as assigned that aid the overall objective of the position.- Demonstrate an ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.- Participate in and comply with the Company's safety-first culture.- Adhere to the Company's policies and procedures at all times.- Available to work flexible hours.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS- Ability to attend customers sites eg: mine & quarry sites, away from home which could include overnight stays.- Availability to work flexible hours including weekend work.- COVID 19 vaccination - requirement to provide evidence of COVID 19 vaccinations (first & second) within 3 months of commencement to meet the requirements of customer site induction and clearance processes.- Available to travel for short periods both interstate and overseas.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS- Fitter Qualification essential.- A current Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.- Experience in Mining, Quarry or related.- Exposure to Terex Jaques or Cedarapids equipment would be advantageous.- Familiarity to Terex Washing Systems would be beneficial.- Hydraulic experience advantageous.- Dogging and/or Rigging Tickets favourable.- Electrical knowledge and Welding experience would be valuable.- Computer literate.
