About the role
As our Exercise Physiologist, you will provide quality interventions in a one on one and/ or group setting which will be achieved through the design, delivery, evaluation and adaptation of safe and effective exercise interventions that can improve your patient’s physical and emotional wellbeing. The team at Hyson Green are committed to providing contemporary and innovative approaches to mental health care by recognising the centrality of our patients’ choices in determining their therapeutic journey, and strive to empower our patients through providing an optimistic and positive approach with a focus on collaborative decision making and care planning.

About You

Mandatory

Professional registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
A bachelor degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, or equivalent.
Appropriate clinical experience, including demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment, therapeutic intervention, group work, case management, and case work.
COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt.

Highly Desirable

Previous experience working in a hospital setting.
Current Mental Health First Aid Certificate.
Advanced knowledge of local service networks.
