**About Beresford Hall**

Beresford Hall is an 81 place, Extra Service residential aged care facility located on New South Head Road in Rose Bay.

Drayton House is an extension to the existing Beresford Hall residential aged care facility, situated on the opposite side of Cranbrook Road and has 65 places. Drayton House is built and furnished to the same high standard and has the look and feel of Beresford Hall. Drayton House operates under the Beresford Hall Residential Age Care Service.

Due to growing occupancy Beresford Hall are looking for Registered Nurses to join our team on a Part Time or Casual basis, working across a range of shifts in the morning, afternoon and evening.

**About the Role**

Housekeeping and Catering Assistant - Part-Time and Casual

We are looking for people who genuinely care and in return, we will provide you with an environment where you feel supported and appreciated. We currently have a number of unfilled PM/ND shifts available and a handful of AM shifts.

As a Housekeeping and Catering Assistant, your role will be required to:

- Maintain legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
- Complete required documentation and reporting
- Ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including laundry and catering

Your experience:

- Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week

**Duties**:

- Use your fantastic cleaning, housekeeping and laundry skills in a role where you really can make a difference. Provide our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.
- compassionate person-centred care,
- Respecting the privacy and dignity of our residents.
- Encourage and assist our residents to achieve their optimal levels of functioning and independence by following care plans. Creating and updating care plans to reflect the changing needs, preferences and goals of our residents.
- Working independently and collaboratively with staff and residents.

- Building an ongoing rapport with our residents and their families.
- Confidence in managing your time effectively, including and ability to work autonomously.
- Exceptional customer service skills demonstrated through excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
- Provide leadership and direction to care staff.
- Ensure clinical quality standards are met.

A current NDIS and AHPRA registration are essential.

COVID Vaccination compulsory. Visitors are permitted to enter a facility if their influenza vaccine is delayed due to receiving COVID vaccinations.

Evidence of your flu vaccination will be required for an interview.
