Key Responsibilities Include:

- Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
- Organising the kitchen for the next day of baking
- preparing pastry fillings for pies and sausage rolls
- monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking time
- Daily count of all stock
- glazing pies and pastries and decorating cakes with icing
- operating the pastry mixer and pastry sheeter
- emptying, cleaning and greasing pie trays, tins and other cooking equipment
- Daily deep clean of the production area

The minimum work experience for this position are:
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

The requirements for this position are:
Strong work ethic with a high attention to detail
Be punctual and always clear team communication
Comply with food safety regulations in Victoria
Demonstrated positive attitude and problems solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early, morning, night, weekend, and holiday availability

Pay: $73,150.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
