**The opportunity**
In this role you will be responsible for helping to create a risk aware culture amongst our Marketing and Growth (M&G) team through embedded first line risk management. Your work enables informed decisions on the fund’s strategy, product design and marketing approach, including Marketing and Growth program & project risk management.

Your role is a crucial enabler, partnering closely with the Senior leadership team of the Marketing and Growth Business Unit (which includes: Marketing, Product & Advocacy, Digital, ESG and Business Development) and interfacing with executives to enable strong risk management decision making, thus positioning the fund to take opportunities in support of our Fund strategy.

You will provide the M&G LT with timely and relevant data, insights and reporting, to ensure our objectives are achieved, resources are used responsibly, risks are managed appropriately, and we remain compliant to all internal and regulatory requirements.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Driving Risk Management capability amongst the team, building strong awareness of risks, controls and decision-making techniques
- Providing risk management expertise, support and cross BU risk-stakeholder engagement for all M&G sponsored programs, projects and enhancements
- Embedding reporting mechanisms to enable Chief Marketing & Growth Officer and M&G leaders to appropriately assess options and determine best course of action
- Managing the roll out of relevant risk and compliance policy changes impacting M&G
- Partnering with all 3 lines of assurance and M&G leaders to ensure that risks and incidents are appropriately identified, assessed, managed and reported
- Developing monthly operational reports and insights to M&G leaders and various M&G committees

**About you**
We are looking for an individual who has an investigative, problem-solving mindset and someone who understands the importance of delivery and building trusting relationships. You will have worked in fast moving transformation environments, and you are comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.

As UniSuper continues to evolve and grow we are looking for someone who has experience in building efficiencies and is always looking to improve and streamline processes.

In addition, your experience includes, but is not limited to:

- Academic qualification at a tertiary (or higher) level, in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Solid understanding of Reporting, Governance, Risk and Compliance domains
- Knowledge of and experience working in Financial Services or Superannuation
- Experience delivering reports and associated insights to all levels of management (operational and strategic)
