Transcription Typist

APT Transcriptions is an industry leader in high security transcription service to both State and Federal Government Agencies.

APT is looking for skilled transcriptionists to work in our Sydney office. We are Australian owned and operated and an expanding market provider.

We have just signed a new long term NSW Government contract and require more staff to meet the new capacity. APT in a growing dynamic company.

We are looking for long term employees who are willing to grow with the company. It's exciting times at APT Transcriptions with increasing demand from existing clients and expansion with new government clients. We need your help

We are looking for experienced court and police transcription typists to in working in our Sydney office.

Our preference is for full time position of 5 days per week, we can make 4 days work too.

Options for less days available depending on experience.

Transcription typing is listening to audio and video recordings and producing an accurate record as per style guides of what transpired. It is a very important and interesting role in various jurisdictions and settings.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Court transcription
- Interview transcription
- Legal dictaphone typing
- Typing speed of 80WPM
- Police transcription
- NSW Court transcription
- Legal transcription

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- High quality production of transcripts
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent hearing and attention to detail
- Enjoy typing interesting and confidential content
- Working with a team
- Love to type
- Experience in transcription
- All work current work required in our Sydney office
- Security clearances required depending on clients (min Baseline)
