**About the Role**:
We have a rare opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced **Export Salesperson** to join our Northern Operations business on a full-time basis, selling for the largest beef producer in Australia.

Sales experience in the meat industry would be highly regarded, as is a high level of product & technical knowledge across the beef category. Your systematic approach to business development and the sales process, coupled with your ability to differentiate and align our brands with market opportunities will enable you to optimise revenue and product values across your portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Beef sales to South East Asia wholesale and retail customers
- Develop and execute brand activation activities to drive sales, brand awareness and increase brand value through strategic activities
- Liaise with PCP (Production Control Planners) on production, labelling and specification maintenance
- Coordinate with sales assistants to maintain the required customer service level and ensure customer enquiries are dealt appropriately
- Meet and aim to exceed agreed KPIs and targets
- Conduct regular visits to production and customer sites including international market visits
- Participate in trade shows, events and other public activities to promote the products and brands of the business

**Criteria**:

- 2 - 5 years sales experience (preferably in beef)
- Degree qualifications or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in an export sales environment
- Ability to establish new relationships and build on existing business relationships
- Highly developed negotiation and communication skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team both internally and externally

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
