Medical Receptionist

Advantage Medical Rosebud and Mt Eliza are the current locations where is this opportunity is based.

**The Role**

We are looking for a casual medical receptionist who can travel between Mt Eliza and Rosebud, who aligns with our core values to support our patients on a daily basis. We are looking for an applicant who is flexible and available from Monday to Saturday; available on short notice and available to work anytime between 8am to 6pm.

With the support of the Practice Manager you will be an integral part of ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of our busy practice at main reception. Being the face of our company working alongside other receptionists.

Your responsibilities will vary daily, but will include:

- Meeting, greeting and registering patients
- Invoicing & receipting accounts
- Booking & confirming appointments
- Scanning and Faxing
- Supporting our General Practitioners/Nurses
- Liaising with PHI, Medicare, TAC & WorkCover

The shift hours vary based on the operation requirements of the business. Business hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays until 2pm-4pm depending on site location. We are closed public holidays and Sundays.

**About You**
- **STRONG experience in a Medical Practice/ Reception **(preferred but not essential)
- Experience with Best Practice Software (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent Customer Service
- Works well within a team
- Flexibility to cover on short notice
- Flexibility to cover leave at our other sites
- You are reliable
- To be eligible you must be either an Australian citizen or possess the appropriate visa and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including 3rd dose). No agencies please._

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $32.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
