**The Role**:
The role of the Landfill Supervisor involves the day-to-day supervision of the Smythesdale Landfill site, oversee the operations of contractors and their compliance with the Operational and Environmental procedures and plans in the Landfill site, assist with the supervision and engagement of contractors when requested to meet compliance in the Closed Landfills and Council’s Waste Transfer Station and ensure that a customer focussed, and continuous improvement culture of service delivery exists at the Landfill site.

**About You**:
**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Previous landfill, waste management and/or construction/ mine experience.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management
- Demonstrated experience providing high quality customer service
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience with managing Occupational Health and Safety risks, hazards and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the corporate values (Leadership, Outcomes, Loyalty and Excellence)
