**About The Role**

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and proactive accounts professional to join our team in Cheltenham.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for supporting the business with a broad range of tasks including:

- Process daily banking receipts, project invoicing, and progress claims.
- Manage debtor queries.
- Communicate with sales and project teams on customer accounts.
- Making outbound collection calls.
- Keeping accurate notes and updating the system.
- GL and clearing account reconciliations.
- Assisting the finance team with the preparation of end-of-year & month-end accounts.

**About You**

We are seeking someone who has strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well with systems and procedures. To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

- 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
- Demonstrated collections experience.
- Experience in using business systems (AX would be highly beneficial)
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Flexibility and open-mindedness to work effectively in a team environment.
- Well-developed computer skills, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite.

Please note - this position is required to work onsite.
