Our client is a well-known government organization who are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Project Support Officer to join their successful and dynamic team environment based in Kingswood in this exciting opportunity to start immediately on a contract until the 30th of June 2024, with a possibility of extension.

This role requires individuals who are competent go getters, passionate about improving business performance.

**The Job..**

Reporting through to the Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Providing high level administrative support to the Strategic Projects team to ensure effective and efficient workflow, guaranteeing that all project related activities run smoothly.
- Coordinating meetings and functions, including booking venues and catering, organising required equipment and managing accommodation arrangements.
- Providing meeting support, including taking minutes and sending actions.
- Maintaining record and file management systems to ensure the safe storage and convenient access to documentation and data.
- Facilitating enquiries from managers and project staff to ensure effective advice can be provided.
- Development, implementation and improvement of systems and processes.

To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas & possess the below personal qualities:

- Minimum 12 months of experience in a Project Support position.
- Experience working within the Government or Education sectors would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to confidently work across multiple systems and databases.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to stay focused in a high-volume environment.
