ING, voted Australia’s most recommended bank for the 4th consecutive year by Canstar, is seeking an experienced **Manager - Stress Testing, ICAAP and Capital Analytics** **(Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process) **extraordinaire who’ll ensure a state of the art risk management function in ING.

You’ll maintain and enhance the integrative risk management framework ensuring that the requirements of regulators, ING head office and ING Australia senior management are embedded into the day to day functioning of the business.

Your responsibilities include 3 main focus areas: firstly, performing scenario analyses and stress tests across internal and regulatory activities to ensure ING Australia is prepared for any adverse economic circumstances; meeting capital adequacy and compliance with both European and Australian prudential regulation. Secondly, managing timely execution of regulatory risk disclosures (Pillar 3 and APRA prudential reporting requirements) as well as local and ING Group capital reporting for all ING Australia’s portfolios. And finally, maintaining ING Australia’s resolution and recovery planning framework and reporting (under Australian and European prudential regulations).

**What you’ll do**
- Perform activities ranging from (emerging risk) risk identification, risk quantification, reporting of scenario outcomes to strategic advise based on conclusions; covering ING Australia’s balance sheet with retail, business lending and wholesale activities
- Perform capital adequacy assessments, scenario analyses and stress testing in compliance with the respective Australian and European prudential regulations
- Deliver quarterly risk disclosure and drive capital calculation reporting for all ING Australia portfolios
- Manage reporting requirements resulting from ING Head Office activities
- Determine solvency risk appetite setting and regulatory disclosures following the Pillar 3 requirements
- Resolution, recovery and public disclosures; design and maintain resolution and recovery frameworks and respective policies

**What we’re looking for**
- An understanding of prudential requirements with the ability to explain complicated matters in simple terminology - with specific knowledge of APS110, APS112, APS113, APS330 and CPS190/900 regulations
- 5+ years’ experience in an analytical, risk quantification function; within a stress testing role or equivalent in banking, actuarial or financial services; with experience in engagements with regulators.
- Proven experience of modelling, mathematical and statistical techniques with Intermediate to Advanced skill level of SAS and SQL
- An understanding of the European resolution and recovery framework and required reporting
- Ability to perform with tight deadlines with exceptional communication, influencing and time management skills
