**In this role, you'll**:
Be an important part of Technical Services' Spatial Project Services team on a fixed-term contract until November 2024. You will oversee the technical implementation of GIS, ensuring high-quality deliverables across project teams, stakeholders, and partners. As a key contributor to the collaborative team, you consistently provide geospatial expertise, lead GIS implementation, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of GIS knowledge.

Working collaboratively with a team of GIS managers and analysts, you bring geospatial expertise to support project teams and ensure top-notch geospatial deliverables. Your responsibilities encompass leadership, technical implementation of GIS, process development, and fostering relationships with stakeholders, all while demonstrating the Transport ways of leading and actively contributing to the continual improvement of GIS knowledge and practices, making your contribution instrumental in shaping the future of GIS at Transport for NSW.

**About you**

As a GIS Manager, you bring a profound passion for the intersection of engineering, technology, and people. Your proactive and autonomous approach means you take the initiative to cultivate effective relationships and resolve challenges within the realm of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Your robust communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adept multitasking capabilities empower you to manage multiple cross-functional priorities, skilfully navigating conflicting deadlines.

With your solid foundation in GIS processes and technologies, you consistently facilitate communication, coordination, and information exchange among project stakeholders across the project lifecycle. Your commendable track record includes successfully implementing GIS specifications, standards, procedures, and technology in collaboration with design consultants, subcontractors, and project delivery teams, showcasing your steadfast commitment to excellence in GIS management.

Your tertiary qualifications in Geographic Information Systems, coupled with hands-on experience, position you as a valuable asset in seamlessly integrating GIS into project workflows. Furthermore, your background extends to the transport industry, introducing an advantageous layer of expertise to your GIS management capabilities. You're enthusiastic about leveraging your skill set to contribute effectively to the success of the team.
