**The Position?**
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Receive, store, and organise food and supplies in designated storage areas, ensuring proper rotation, labelling, and inventory control
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and storage areas, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard

**The Person**
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, take direction from kitchen management, and adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, following food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to create a safe and hygienic kitchen environment for staff and guests
