Boilermaker

**About the role**:
We have a full time Boilermaker / Fabricator role available in Infrabuild Steel, in the meltshop at our Rooty Hill site. You will execute planned maintenance, fabrication, and inspection tasks, identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback via the maintenance management system.

You will be required to complete all tasks safely and to a high quality. There will also be regular shutdown tasks requiring your input as an individual or working with other members of the team.

Reporting to the Mechanical Leader you will be responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of a variety of production machinery. This will include the execution of preventative and predictive maintenance as well as attending to breakdowns if the need arises.

**About your experience**:
To be successful in this role, you will meet the below criteria:

- Essential - Boilermaker / Fabrication trade qualification
- Previous experience in the heavy industry will be viewed favourably.
- Preventative maintenance, breakdown, and shutdown experience desirable
- Ability to fabricate and weld to test standards
- A current forklift and EWP high risk work licence and Confined space ticket is highly desirable but not essential, as is experience with SAP.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Must be flexible enough to work overtime and shut downs occasionally when required.
- Have a proactive approach, whilst holding safety, family, sustainability and change as core values
