**The Role**
Sitting in the marketing analytics function for a FMCG company, you will work closely with Senior Category & Insights Manager. You will be responsible for providing reports and insights of category reviews, product development and customer planning, as well as promotion and pricing analysis using key data sources.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop reports and provide analysis and insights within category perspective.
- Review pricing in the market and making recommendations on shelf & promotional pricing to drive greater revenue.
- Drive ROI approach on in-market activations and commercial spend.
- Work with the senior category manager and the broader team to align on NPD assumptions based on competitor & market data and shopper insights.
- Support the customer teams on category range reviews with key grocery & online customers.
- Develop monthly report's scorecard to sales and marketing team.
**About You**
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, or similar fields
- Proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity in either Nielsen, Circana (IRI) or Quantium.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in category analysis.
- FMCG/Retail experience is highly regarded.
- Great communication skills.
- Full Australian working rights.
