Restorations Supervisor

**Salary**: $2,935 to $3,287 per fortnight + 10.5% superannuation and a 9 day fortnight.
- Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications, and experience._

Hornsby Shire Council's Asset Management and Maintenance Branch is currently recruiting a Restorations Supervisor to join their team.

**About us**

Hornsby Shire is located on Sydney's upper north shore, approximately 25 kilometres north of the CBD. Known as the ‘Bushland Shire’, our local government area is characterised by bushland comprising national park, major waterways, natural reserves and rural landscape. The rest of the Shire combines urban, rural and open spaces.

**About the role**

Some main duties of the role include;
- Supervision of road and footpath restoration works, usually by public authorities
- Provide expert technical advice for road openings and road restorations matters
- Communicate and liaise with stakeholders internally and externally

**About you**

To be successful, you will have a good knowledge of the roads act as it applies to road openings and compliance matters and experience in the maintenance of road and footpaths. Your ability to plan/schedule work, as well as your interpersonal skills with contractors and members of the public will see you succeed in this role.
