This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Create best in class motion graphics to elevate our brand’s communication and campaigns.
- Develop and maintain the creative vision for projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Conceptualise and design captivating 2D and 3D animations for various digital platforms including social media, websites, and digital advertisements.
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Design Director, Art Directors, and other creative team members to create engaging, best-in-class motion graphics work to support the creative needs of our brands, including our main B2C brand, Alternaleaf.
- Lead a motion team, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to foster growth and ensure the highest quality of work.
- Collaborate with the creative teams to develop concepts and storyboards that effectively communicate key messages and brand narratives.
- Lead the motion graphics evolution of the brand guidelines.
- Create visually stunning title sequences, transitions, and effects to enhance video content and engage audiences.
- Design animated infographics and data visualisations to present complex information in an engaging and easily understandable manner.
- Produce animated logos and brand elements to maintain brand consistency across all motion graphic assets.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in motion design, animation, and visual effects to continuously innovate and elevate the quality of motion graphic content.
- Work closely with video editors and other team members to integrate motion graphics seamlessly into video projects.
- Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide creative solutions that meet their needs and objectives.
- Create and implement post-production workflows.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain organised project files and documentation to facilitate efficient collaboration and version control.

**In addition to these foundations, you will have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in motion graphics design, preferably in a studio, agency, or production environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard motion graphics and animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Illustrator.
- 1-2 years experience leading a small team and projects.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and composition, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into visually compelling motion graphic animations.
- Experience with 2D and 3D animation techniques, including character animation, motion tracking, and particle effects.
- Excellent storytelling and narrative skills, with the ability to convey emotions and messages effectively through motion graphics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from creative leads or clients.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of motion graphics and animation projects, demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
