**About the role**
We’re looking for a **motivated** and **reliable** trainee to join the ICT team of a **top school in Parramatta.** You’ll be working full-time and have 3 hours per week at work to complete your Certificate IV in IT. Access from Parramatta Train Station is a 15-minute walk, or there are bus stops nearby or free parking is provided by the College.

Schools are brilliant environments in which to build an impressive ICT career. Working alongside true professionals, you’ll gain extensive experience in ICT Help desk support, and face to face ICT support, assisting teachers, students, and other staff.

You’ll build experience across a range of areas including:

- Interacting with, and supporting internal users (students, teachers and staff) who require assistance when ICT issues arise
- Using core office software, systems, processes and procedures
- Assisting the team to deliver top quality service to users
- Be part of working on projects when students are off-site during school holidays

**About YOU**
The team will help you develop, but there are some key traits we’re looking for:

- The knack for learning technical tasks, and troubleshooting IT issues once trained
- **Experience in customer service is essential** - you will want to provide the best service you possibly can - the ICT team is a very important part of the school. You’ll enjoy supporting the internal team and users and be a great communicator. If you've had work placement in ICT while at high school that would be great too
- You’ll always be **professionally presented with a mature outlook** - you’ll be a **role model** for students
- You’ll enjoy working in an environment that can change from day to day
- ICT skills and a true interest in all things ICT related - you’ll love your ICT
- Australian citizen or permanent resident.
