Western Health is seeking an Operations Manager, Custodial Health to lead Western Health’s multidisciplinary custodial health team. The role is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of the multidisciplinary team providing primary healthcare at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC), a maximum-security women’s prison. The Operations Manager will oversee the provision of high-quality healthcare, clinical safety and financial management. To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in leadership, strategic planning and change management. This role will support the transition period and ongoing operational management of all elements of healthcare provision by Western Health.
On 1 July, 2023 the delivery of primary healthcare will transition from the current service provider to Western Health. The multidisciplinary team will provide holistic and interconnected service provision to patient’s at DPFC. Successful applicants will be on boarded during the transition period for orientation and training including additional training to support the delivery of culturally appropriate, trauma informed, gender affirming care for all patient’s including priority cohorts.
