**About the Job**

2 Casual positions are available working approx. 15 hours each week; increasing up to 38 hours during school holidays

We are seeking 2 **energetic animal care superstars **for our **Mascot Pet Hotel **. Working across Animal Welfare, Taxi service and Reception the key accountabilities of the role include animal welfare, cleaning, customer service & driving our pet taxi vans. You will be responsible for the quality of **pet welfare **and providing care for both boarding pet guests which includes **cleaning **kennels, **feeding **pets, basic washing/ **grooming **and **exercising **of pets. Our Petcare/Animal Attendants also provide excellent customer service when engaging with our clients at pick up and drop off on reception. When driving our Pet Taxi service you will be responsible for collecting and transporting animals to our range of facilities.

**About You**

You are **reliable **, motivated and **experienced **in caring for animals, with genuine affection for cats and dogs. Have an unrestricted & clean drivers license to enable you to fulfil Pet Taxi services. **To be a high performer in this role **, you will be:

- Certified in animal studies and/or companion animal services and/or experienced working in **vet clinics, doggy daycares, kennels or catteries **(preferred)
- Available to work during the school holidays and on weekends, with flexibility to work extra shifts (up to 38 hrs/week) during the school holidays
- Available for rotating rostered shifts, and **flexibility **to occasionally cover other unplanned absences at short notice
- Prepared to jump at the chance to help others in your team
- Able to **work at a brisk pace **and carry out tasks to required timeframes
- Able to work independently yet under guidance as needed
- Strongly passionate about companion animals
- A good communicator and positive person who enjoys **teamwork**
- A licensed driver, with a clean record and unrestricted Drivers License (essential)
- Own vehicle to get to and from work (public transport is limited)
- Committed to working safely, and following Standard Operating Procedures
- Willing and able to adhere to Hanrob Pet Hotels' operating procedures and work health and safety requirements at all times

**_This is a physically-demanding role which requires a significant amount of walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, restraining, bending, kneeling, squatting and being on your feet for most of your shift. _**
