**The opportunity?**

Right now, we have an exciting Permanent Full Time opportunity for a Data Analyst (Strategic Insight Designer) to join our Behavioural Insights Management team within the Customer Strategy and Experience branch.

The Behavioural Insights Management team is part of Customer Strategy, providing the insights that support identification and prioritisation of initiatives to improve strategic customer outcomes, along with a broader, branch-wide, insight function.

This role will involve generating insight concepts and delivering actionable outputs to internal and external stakeholders that support our strategic customer commitments and outcomes. To do this will require a structured and collaborative approach to problem identification and solution delivery, along with an effective understanding of business intelligence workflows and strong conviction around observed quantitative and qualitative themes.

As a Data Analyst (Strategic Insight Designer), you will:

- Gather business needs
- Facilitate ideation around potential customer insight solutions
- Support data gathering through research and exploration of opportunities
- Establish a framework for delivering customer insight
- Design insight delivery templates and programs in PowerPoint and dynamic presentation tools
- Explore and review data outputs
- Present insight plans and proposals to stakeholders
- Build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders

**About you** ?
- Understanding of customer insight workflows from idea to actionable output, including qualitative and quantitative insight generation.
- Ability to interrogate, summarise and interpret data in Excel, PowerBI and other visualisation platforms
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with a penchant for driving clarity and mitigating complexity
- Effective and highly inquisitive listener
- Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and aligning outputs to target outcomes over time
- Self-starter and ability to work as part of a team

**Salary and Benefits**

This is a Permanent Full Time role based in the Sydney CBD with flexible work options.

This position is a Transport Award Grade 7 ($108,770 - $121,822) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
