Electrochemist

VitalTrace is looking for suitably qualified and experienced Electrochemist to join our team. You will be working with some of the brightest stars in the world of medical device development and manufacturing. A diverse team, the Chem Crew are part of a multi-disciplinary team environment, sharing knowledge, skills and experience. This role supports our operations by providing research and development of the biosensor interface - working closely with the Electronics team. Designing, planning and conducting electrochemical experiments are a key activity as well as experience in electrochemical data analysis and interpretation. Creativity and off the wall thinking is highly valued

As a team member, we need your skills in mentoring and supervising other team members as we grow rapidly into a world class facility for bio-sensor development. Experience in setting up and managing an electrochemistry laboratory would be a great capability for us to tap into

**Key Requirements**
- PhD or Masters in chemistry - preferably electrochemistry, chemical engineering or materials science
- Significant electro-chemical laboratory experience
- Experience in laboratory method development
- Familiarity with design controls for quality management verification and validation (a love to have)
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in small teams
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in laboratory safety
