**YOUR ROLE**

As a key member of Workers Compensation Underwriting, you'll be responsible for assisting the business unit to underwrite and process Workers' Compensation business in order to achieve profit, growth and retention targets in line with the strategic objectives. The position will also be responsible in building and maintaining strong relationships that delivers excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for assisting in the underwriting of renewal and new business risks by providing processing, administrative, and underwriting support whilst operating within specific risk acceptance authorities and guidelines.
- Accountable for assisting the Business Unit in achieving renewal retention, and profitability targets in accordance with business objectives by actively following up outstanding renewal business.
- Contribute to the achievement of annual performance objectives set for the Business Unit by
- Support Credit Services in the collection of outstanding premium
- Accountable for building and maintaining relationships with intermediaries. As such this role is accountable for maintaining the CGU profile in the market place to assist with new business sales and renewal retention rates.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous customer service experience
- Minimum 12 months experience or exposure to Workers' Compensation/General Insurance
- Good verbal and written communication skills (essential)
- HSC or equivalent
- Insurance qualification at ANZIIF Associate level or Tertiary qualification in related financial field
