Payroll Specialist

6 Month contract (Maternity Leave)

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Processing fortnightly pay runs on a timely basis in accordance with the relevant industrial instruments.
- End to end processing for both permanent and casual employees on EBA and Common Law contracts
- Payroll reconciliations, monthly payroll reports and PAYG
- Resolving complex enquiries, calculations and adjustments with employee demonstrating superior customer service
- Maintain employee files.

**Demonstrated key Competencies/Qualifications**:

- A strong background with payroll & roster systems with Preceda and Riteq (preferred)
- Health or aged care payroll experience ideally 3-5 years of experience
- Good understanding of payroll processes and legislation
- Demonstrated experience with interpretation of EBA & Award requirements, reconciliation, superannuation, payroll tax, Work Cover, deductions and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent troubleshooting and sound problem-solving skills
- Outstanding Customer Service Skills

This is a 6-month contract (maternity leave) attracting an excellent hourly rate.

**Please note there is an option for working from home after an initial training period, this will be at the discretion of management.
