**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Werribee Mercy Hospital is a public hospital servicing the growing community of the West. Our service is expanding and with increased demand we are inviting experienced and motivated Registered Midwives and nurses to join our casual workforce.
- The casual workforce is responsible for filling vacancies within our specialty services across Werribee Mercy Hospital.
- We are currently looking for casual staff with experience in Maternity and / or Special Care Nursery.
- Joining our casual workforce you will:

- Be registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience working within an Australian acute hospital setting.
- Be committed to the delivery of a high standard of patient centred care.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of best patient outcomes.
- Strong critical thinking skill and clinical knowledge with the ability to advocate for the patient.
- Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to commit to at least 2 shifts per fortnight across a rotating roster.
