**Trade Assistant**:

- Date: 7 Nov 2023- Location: Pinkenba, QLD, AU, 4008- Company: Ventia- $31.65 per hour + super
- Finish at before lunch on Fridays
- Work on some unique Defence vehicle and assets
- Workshop within Meeandah site, on Damascus Barracks at Pinkenba (near Brisbane Airport)

**About the Role**:
Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, are seeking experienced Trade Assistants, to join the team in Amberley, Queensland maintaining and repairing Defence vehicles and plant equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop
- Assisting in maintenance and storeroom tasks
- Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so**Key Skills & Attributes Include**:

- You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
- Hold a current Driver’s License (C class, manual, open)
- Have a great attitude, a good work ethic and complete tasks with mínimal supervision
- Additional experience would also be highly desirable;
- Computer Literacy using Microsoft office products (especially Excel)
- Experience in using SAP
- High Risk Work license with competencies in Forklift
- Tyre fitting experience
- Dogging and Rigging
