**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for Apprentice Boiler Maker to join the team at Wales Adelaide.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining metal structures and equipment, including truck trailers, trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles.

Your primary responsibilities will include welding, cutting, grinding, and shaping metal parts, interpreting technical drawings and specifications, and following safety procedures and guidelines. You will work closely with other members of the repair team to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Assist in welding, cutting, grinding, and shaping of metal parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Reassemble vehicle
- Carry out minor and small repairs as required
- Join metal sections and structures together using welding, bolting or riveting methods
- Complete products by washing, cleaning, chiselling, grinding and filing
- Notate broken parts/extra repairs and submit to Estimator when required
- Ensure authorised before proceeding with additional work
- Double check new parts are correct and not damaged
