We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a First Year Apprentice Carpenter. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about carpentry and eager to kickstart their career in the construction industry. As a First Year Apprentice Carpenter at ACE Homes Constructions, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and develop valuable skills in carpentry and construction.

Role Description

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist experienced carpenters with various tasks such as measuring, cutting, and installing materials.
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by cleaning, organising materials, and setting up equipment.
- Learn to operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Gain knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and building codes through on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Take initiative to ask questions, seek feedback, and actively participate in learning opportunities.

**Required Skills**:
**Requirements**:

- Has a Certificate II in Building Construction (Pre-apprenticeship) or relevant work experience
- Has a white card
- Strong passion for carpentry and a desire to learn and grow in the construction industry.
- Excellent work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on elevated surfaces.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Preferred Skills
- Having a licence is a plus
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred but not required.
