Since opening over forty years ago, The Skin Hospital has gained a reputation as a centre of excellence in clinical management of skin diseases. We operate across two purpose built and accredited sites in Sydney, offering over 20 specialty skin clinics and access to over 50 dermatologists. As a registered education institution, we estimate that over 95% of NSW dermatologists have spent time training with us, and we currently train more dermatologists than any other institution in Australia. At The Skin Hospital, we are committed to the advancing the treatment and cures for skin diseases and have an internationally recognised Research and Clinical Trials team who are at the forefront of their field.

**About the role**:
The primary objective of the role of the Quality Manager at The Skin Hospital is to lead and implement a quality improvement management system across TSH. You will be responsible for developing and implementing an accreditation plan which leads to successful reaccreditation of our day surgery facilities.

Building on our existing culture, you will influence change by promoting quality, safety and innovation and fostering a commitment to continuous review and improvement across all areas of The Skin Hospital.
- Develop implement and report on an accreditation plan which leads to successful reaccreditation by TSH.
- Build a culture that promotes quality, safety and innovation and fosters a commitment to continuous review and improvement across all business units of The Skin Hospital
- Investigate incident reports, patient complaints and patient care issues, and where applicable lead initiatives to mitigate recurrence.
- Develop, implement and report on audit and education schedules
- Consult and communicate initiatives effectively across the organisation
- Provide reporting to and attend the Board Clinical Governance Committee on clinical indicators and follow through with leading initiatives to resolution.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual in quality initiatives across a healthcare setting, working in a fun and collaborative team.

**About you**:
To be successful, your experience will have been gained in the Australian health sector, including:

- Nursing qualifications, with experience in the Australian healthcare sector
- Knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of a Quality Improvement framework.
- Extensive understanding of accreditation to NSQHS National Standards
- Participated in accreditation cycle of a hospital
- Well-developed planning, organisation and time management skills with a proven ability to work independently under limited supervision.
- Experience project managing the design and implementation of initiatives in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated ability to think and execute creatively and collaboratively.
- Able to demonstrate The Skin Hospital values of United, Excellence, Integrity, Caring & Collaboration
- Able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, and work as part of a small team
