**About our client**:
Our client is a well-established international freight forwarding agent that prides themselves on providing cost effective and efficient service to their customers.

**Key responsibilities**:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing the warehouse, logistics office and customer deliveries with the support of the cartage and customer service teams.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Management of customer SOPs and detailed process plans aligned with customer KPIs and expectations
- Coordinate communication between relevant teams to manage the operations and go-live of new customers
- Arrange the flow within the warehouse, plan routes and process shipments
- Be the main point of contact to solve and streamline warehouse processes and utilisation
- Coordinate and distribute daily tasks and activities for the warehouse to run efficiently and effectively
- Provide strong leadership and management of the team to achieve desired goals and KPI’s
- Ensure company systems and procedures are followed and continuously improved
- Develop existing team members through coaching and knowledge sharing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders and team members

**Skills and experience**:

- Broad warehouse management experience is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others
- Proven track record in successfully leading and managing a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Proven track record in achieving performance KPI’s and providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work towards deadlines and manage time effectively
- EDI / CargoWise experience will be an advantage
- Positive, can-do attitude
