Bartender/cocktail Maker

We are looking for a _**professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills**_ to serve our customers classic cocktails as well as exciting new beverages. Customers will be greeted, their preferences will be learned, menu items will be recommended, and beverages and food will be prepared and served. In addition, you will upsell items, create recipes, use proper equipment and ingredients, and perform basic cleaning duties.

To be a successful bartender, you should have a neat appearance as well as an engaging, friendly personality. You should be quick, observant, knowledgeable, and sociable.

**Bartender Responsibilities**:

- Reading and listening to customers to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
- Drink menu planning and informing customers about new beverages and specials
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to keep the bar and tables stocked
- All food safety and quality regulations must be followed
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charge accuracy and returning correct change to customers, and balancing the cash register
- Keeping the work and dining areas clean by picking up trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment

**Bartender Requirements**:

- Work availability on nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Positive personality, engaging appearance, and professional demeanor
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent task and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and knowledgeable about drink mixing tools and techniques

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Shift work

- Toukley, NSW 2263: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- bartending: 1 year (preferred)
