What does the job look like?

The role of the Pallet Controller is responsible for inbound and outbound pallet control for the Resources & Industrial (R&I) business unit, located in Marsden Park. This position will also have a payroll component, where you will be responsible for processing the weekly payroll for the site staff. This position will work with a tier one customer and requires strong attention to detail and an individual who has an excellent customer focus. Mon - Fri | 08:00 - 16:30.

Key areas:

- Maintain and distribute daily attendance report - AM & PM
- Manage inbound pallet dockets including empty pallet returns from subcontractors ie F/S
- Manage outbound unreconciled manifest report (IOU’s, from drivers Arrange dehires run sheets)
- Conduct weekly pallet reporting to the customer and TPT IOU balance report
- Liaise with customers for retrieval of owed pallets
- Manage return pallet dockets and perform monthly pallet counts
- Weekly uploading and exporting from 2IC
- Investigating discrepancies identified, chase PODs from site.
- Conduct monthly IOU report (Checks and balances) and pallet reconciliations
- Process weekly payroll for site staff through Kronos
- Identify gaps in process, work with WHS and TPT to implement processes to close the gap.
- Ensuring they can perform any work competently and safely they undertake and are aware of the risks and hazards associated with their work
- Assist in ensuring agreed customer objectives and measures are met
- Adhere to, champion and support Linfox values

- Previous Transport and Logistics experience is preferred
- SAP, Kronos and 2IC system experience is preferred
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Willing and ambitious attitude
