Gel Coater

Noosa Cat has positions available for experienced fiberglass laminators to join our mould shop team. Experienced in chopper and gelcoating operations is essential.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Preparation of moulds (cleaning and waxing).
- Gelcoating of deck, hull, cabins and small part moulds.
- Marking and cutting woven and core materials following templates, guides or specific dimensions.
- Demonstrated experience in the lamination industry, with extensive experience in gelcoat and chopper gun operation.
- Ability to laminate fiberglass components to a lamination schedule.
- Ability to work with basic shop tools and equipment used in the gelcoating/lamination of fiberglass boats.
- Have a strong eye for detail, accuracy and quality.
- Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
- The ability to problem solve, work independently and self-manage is required.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- gelcoat and chopper gun: 1 year (preferred)
