**About the role**:
Reporting to the Head of Service Operations, the Instructional Designer is responsible for partner-focused end-to-end design and development of learning services which includes analysis, development, design, and evaluation of courses, content, multi-media objects and training resources to improve service capability through a variety of traditional and digital learning mediums.

This role will also work with business areas to develop training that meets their needs including managing external providers and providing advice to other practitioners to ensure that any learning deliverables meet the brand and align to the Learning and Development Strategy.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Work closely with the business and the organisation to acquire and maintain a full understanding of their functions and training requirements.
- Design and develop effective learning interventions including face to face training materials; participant resources and facilitator guides using the Microsoft suite, and e-learning modules using the appropriate tools.
- Design effective assessment components to learning interventions as required.
- Monitor and review the effectiveness and relevance of training programs through regular feedback interventions.
- Work with the business and the operations team to observe processes and procedures to identify training opportunities or create improvements for training documents within the L&D framework.

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Learning Management, Instructional Design, Human Resource Development, or a related filed.
- 5-7 years’ experience of learning and development experience including developing, implementing, and delivering training.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Experience creating learning services from the ground up.
- Experience in the human services industry (community care or health care)
- A broad range of experience across the design and development of training within the VET environment.
- Experience with Articulate software.
- Demonstrated ability at each phase of the learning cycle including analysis, development, design, implementation, and evaluation.
