Specialising in **Industrial Relations**, you will collaborate with senior and operational leaders to create and execute industrial relations strategies ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and fostering best practice to support our organisational goals and culture. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, this role will you will play a pivotal role in enhancing employee relations, and engagement, and supporting our strategic pillars in our ever-evolving organisation.

**About the Role**
As a hands-on People & Culture Business Partner specialising in Industrial Relations, you will manage all aspects of industrial management compliance and support employee relations. You will focus on implementing processes, tools and developing organisational capability to ensuring compliance with Award(s), employment laws and regulations. In this role you will act as the primary contact for all industrial relations matters and provide guidance to managers on workplace issues.

In this diverse role, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving employee complaints, staying updated on changes in employment laws, and developing HR policies and procedures and audit tools to ensure we are meeting and exceeding beset practice. You will also coach and mentor business leaders to improve organisational performance, lead and participate in consultative forums, and support the establishment of new business units and projects.

A key part of this role involves enhancing employee engagement through initiatives that address employee concerns and foster a culture of open communication and collaboration. You will also support the digital transformation of P&C functions, including the implementation of HRIS and other technology-enabled solutions that require IR knowledge to be applied to our operational setting.

**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a the same level role in a diverse and dynamic organisation and be a motivated HR/IR professional who is able to deliver highly effective people strategies within a nuanced environment. Other key skills we are looking for include;
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in HR with a focus on industrial relations and employee relations management
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly related to award coverage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends
- High levels of emotional intelligence and effective delegation and strategy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite, HRIS, and timekeeping software/platforms.
